Prerequisite: Audition
This is a full-year course focusing on advanced vocal technique, intermediate music theory, and good
musicianship through the performance of a wide variety of musical styles. This course includes a moderate amount of singing in foreign languages and intermediate sight-reading. Voicings
range from SSA to SSAATTBB. Rehearsal and performance times scheduled outside of the regular school day are mandatory for all enrolled students. During the school year, students will be participating
in the following mandatory performances and contests:
- Feeder School Concert
- Fall Concert
- Winter Concert and/or February Concert
- IHSA Organizational Contest
- Spring Finale Concert
